Using UniMo
UniMo is a learning and community app. By creating an account or using UniMo you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to use UniMo where you live. Some features, such as Own Tutor, are for adults only.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details private and give us accurate information, including your date of birth. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting it removes your profile and content as described in the Privacy Policy.
What you can post
You own what you create. By posting it in UniMo you let us store it and show it to the people you choose, so the app can work.
Do not post or send anything that is illegal, hateful, threatening, harassing or sexually explicit, or that sexualizes or endangers children. Do not post scams, spam, malware, or other people's private information. Do not pretend to be someone else.
Reporting, blocking and enforcement
You can report content or a person, and block anyone, at any time. Blocked people cannot contact you, and you can unblock them in Settings.
UniMo's systems act on reports and on clear rule breaks. We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts, and repeated or serious breaks lead to longer suspensions. If you think a decision is wrong, you can appeal in the app.
Reports are processed by UniMo's systems and we act on them as quickly as we can. These safety tools reduce risk, but they are one safeguard, not a guarantee.
Own Tutor
Own Tutor is for adults for now. Tutors are independent members of the community, not employees or representatives of UniMo, and we do not guarantee the quality or accuracy of any session.
Never send money, ID documents or passwords to anyone you meet through UniMo.
Tutor advice is general information. It is not professional medical, legal, financial or safety advice, and you should not follow it blindly.
A tutor may mark a session as including ads. If so, you are told before you connect.
Betafly (AI)
Betafly is an AI assistant. It can be wrong or out of date, so check important information before you rely on it. Do not share secrets or other people's private details with it.
Ending your access
You can stop using UniMo at any time. We can suspend or end access if these Terms are broken or to protect people.
Our responsibility
UniMo is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for what members post or say, for sessions between members, or for losses that come from relying on content or advice in the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
Changes
We may update these Terms as UniMo grows. When we make important changes we will tell you in the app.
